Three new talks, bringing very different perspectives on issues facing the digital industry, creatives, and the business world today.<\/span><\/p>\n

Miruna Herovanu<\/b>, Executive Director @ Audiovisual Anti-Piracy Alliance (AAPA), brought to this year\u2019s SoMo by <\/span>HUDI<\/b><\/a><\/span>, will take the audience into the less visible side of the digital world. In her talk, <\/span>The Underbelly of Piracy<\/b>, Miruna takes us behind the screen to reveal what\u2019s really going on, how AI is making pirate networks faster and more sophisticated, and why the problem goes far beyond illegally watching a football match.<\/span><\/p>\n

Film director and producer <\/span>Filip Filkovi\u0107 Philatz<\/b> is coming to SoMo Borac with an intriguingly titled talk: <\/span>200 Million Reasons Not to Chase Attention<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What happens when you stop trying to make content that will \u201cperform\u201d and start making something you genuinely care about? Philatz explores nostalgia, algorithms, AI and a few lessons he learned while trying to understand what actually holds people\u2019s attention today.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ivana Glavina Jela\u0161<\/b>, Associate Professor, PhD @ Deescalate, will explore de-escalation as a tool for uncomfortable, stressful, and crisis situations.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you do when someone humiliates you, puts you under pressure or simply backs you into a corner? Learn about a communication technique used by police negotiators, useful in both professional and personal life.<\/span><\/p>\n
